Research

Dr. Karen Kelly-Blake is an Associate Professor whose research interests include health services research, shared decision-making, decision aid development and implementation, clinical communication skills and training, mHealth, men’s health, medical workforce policy, health equity, medical education curriculum development, and medical education faculty development.

She is currently working on multiple grant submissions with MSU and University of Michigan partners. The research projects are to evaluate implementation of the Office Guidelines Applied to Practice Program for medication adherence for heart disease management in people with diabetes in FQHCs across the state of Michigan, to assess a multi-level clinical intervention for patient navigator enhanced colorectal cancer screening in community primary care practice settings, and to determine the value of patient-physician concordance on patient health outcomes.

Dr. Kelly-Blake is a Medical Anthropologist and MSU alumna.
