The faculty at the Center for Ethics and Humanities in the Life Sciences are committed to helping hospitals around Michigan offer quality ethics services. Faculty bring years of experience helping health care providers, patients and families to successfully address complex ethical challenges in patient care, and assisting health care organizations to develop policy and procedures that optimize the delivery of ethically sound care.

Our faculty members are here to help your institution improve its ethics consultation services by offering small-group, interactive training workshops. Whether you are training new ethics consultants or your experienced consultants want to refresh their skills, our faculty can work with you to strengthen the skills of your consultants. From identifying the ethical dimensions of challenging clinical problems to writing consultation reports, our faculty will walk you through each step of the consultation process so your consultants can feel confident providing quality ethics services to providers and patients.
