Institutional Review Board Training

While in residence at Michigan State University (MSU), Fogarty trainees are afforded a range of guided opportunities to learn about the structure and functioning of the university’s institutional review board (IRB).

Such opportunities include attending the IRB new member orientation and monthly IRB meetings, shadowing the review of selected protocols, attending university-wide IRB training conferences, and receiving the MSU IRB newsletter.

Additionally, Fogarty trainees must satisfactorily complete the MSU IRB on-line tutorial.
