January 1, 2008  "Call for papers" abstract deadline for the "Literature & Pathology Conference" hosted by The University of California, Davis. Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be submitted with a one page CV either electronically in the body of an email or as an attachment in .doc or .pdf format to Jessica Howell.

February 29-March 2, 2008  The Literature & Pathology Conference will be hosted by the University of California, Davis. The conference provides a venue for productive interdisciplinary discussions on the representations and narrations of pathology and literature. It brings together perspectives of scholars from both the sciences and the humanities.
