Check your BHS Substitutions

Because of the transition from Specialization to Minor, some students' records may not reflect course substitutions approved prior to the transition.

If you enrolled in the BHS Program and had a course substitution approved prior to Fall 2015
, please contact the BHS Advisor to ensure that your course substitutions are adequately recorded.

New Course Opportunity

LB 240 - Bioethics: Theories and Methods is a new course that provides an interdisciplinary introduction to bioethics. It is a gateway course for the bioethics minor, but is open to all MSU students who have completed the Tier I writing requirement. No background in bioethics is required, though students who have already taken some classes toward the bioethics minor will find that it complements their other classes. Topics covered will include the similarities and differences among philosophical, sociological, theological, and legal approaches to bioethics; bioethical issues relating to a variety of health-care disciplines; and health policy and evidence for clinical and policy-level decision-making.

LB 240 is being offered in the Summer 2017 and Fall 2017 semesters.
