Substitutions

In order to receive credit for a course that has not already been approved for the BHS Minor, you must ask for special approval. If the course does not closely resemble another approved course, it is unlikely to be approved as a substitute. Full instructions for requesting a course substitution are available here.

Please note the following exceptions:

ANP 204 is an addition to the "B" category starting in Summer 2014 and counts thereafter.

IAH 209 Section 001, Spring 2014: Performing Arts & Healthcare: Drama and the Human Condition; Instructor: A. Dobbins -- this section only is an addition to the "B" category.

IAH 231B, Focus: Ethics and Empathy in Medicine and the Humanities; Instructor: J. Stryz -- this section only is an addition to the "A" or "B" category starting Summer 2013 and counts thereafter.

IAH 231B Section 740, Spring 2016: Global Health & Global Ethics; Instructor: A. Malavisi -- this section only is an addition to the "B" category.

EPI 290 is an addition to the "B" category starting in Fall 2015 and counts thereafter.

EPI 495 is an addition to the "B" category starting in Summer 2011 and counts thereafter.
